A dreamy oasis in the middle of Berlin
There is a place in Schaperstrasse in Wilmersdorf, a little hidden from view, where the glamour of 1920s Berlin with its love of nightlife has found a home again for almost twenty years. Bohéme Sauvage in the BAR JEDER VERNUNFT, a Spiegeltent – from outside unimposing, but on the inside a glittering ball room – where the intimate location is reflected in the countless smaller and larger mirrors which transform it into a boundless, magical world in which anything seems possible!
The Spiegeltent is the stage for the créme de la créme of intelligent cabaret acts ranging from chanson to comedy. Berlin’s Geschwister Pfister have grown up with the Spiegeltent, Meret Becker had her singing début here, Michael Mittermeier enjoyed his first successes outside of Bavaria at the BAR and Georgette Dee is our regular diva, so to say. Otto Sander reads the works of Ringelnatz and Désirée Nick quotes Nick, Malediva quarrel and make up, Eckart von Hirschhausen and Hellmuth Karasek make us laugh, Rainald Grebe sings about Brandenburg and René Marik’s puppets entertain!
The performances of the operetta "The White Horse Inn" with Walter Schmidinger, Max Raabe and the Geschwister Pfister are practically legendary and when "Cabaret – The Musical" was in town, the BAR JEDER VERNUNFT transformed itself into the Kit Kat Klub of the twenties evening for evening.
