BAR JEDER VERNUNFT
Tucked away in Wilmersdorf, you’ll find a little gem where glamour never went out of style – a place that recalls Berlin’s night-loving 1920s. Step into BAR JEDER VERNUNFT, a Spiegelzelt (mirror tent) – unassuming from the outside, a sparkling ballroom inside. Countless mirrors multiply the magic, turning an intimate space into a world where anything feels possible.
The art of entertainment
For over 30 years, the Spiegelzelt has been one of Germany’s premier stages for cabaret, chanson, theater, comedy, and variety. Here, the crème de la crème of intelligent entertainment takes center stage.
Legendary performances have included the operetta "Das weiße Rößl am Wolfgangsee" with Max Raabe and Die Geschwister Pfister, as well as CABARET – The Berlin Musical, when our tent transformed nightly into the Kit Kat Klub of the roaring twenties.
BAR JEDER VERNUNFT is as famous for its cuisine as it is for its shows. Guests may enjoy elegantly set tables in the arena or boxes, or soak up the summer evenings in our colorful beer garden. Every dish is freshly prepared from regional, seasonal ingredients, and our drinks menu offers everything from fine wines to sparkling Crémant and refreshing soft drinks.

A dreamlike theatre in the heart of Berlin
The mirrored tent, first pitched in 1992 on Schaperstraße in Wilmersdorf, soon became a permanent fixture – an institution, even. Over time, the theatre has grown into one of Germany’s leading venues for sophisticated entertainment. Many artistic journeys began here, and the BAR JEDER VERNUNFT continues to be a home for artists whose creativity and loyalty have shaped its unique spirit.

Many careers have been shaped here — and the story of the BAR JEDER VERNUNFT itself would be unimaginable without the loyalty of those very artists. What began as a temporary venture has long since become a beloved cultural landmark, synonymous with refined cabaret, musical artistry, and the vibrant soul of Berlin’s performing arts. Many of them – and countless more – can be found in our media library.
